    This dish is so authentic – having lived in Beijing for 2 years myself. Chinese food like this is meant to be spicy. When you eat chinese food in other western countries – it is very boring and tame in comparison to the original thing…and yes, you cook this dish for 60 mins. try it.. its fantastic.

    Honestly, Gary Rhodes cooking Chinese is completely out of place. I think he’s not truly putting his heart into it. And the recipe looks to be so spicy and hot it could make you cry. I wonder if there are poeple who actually attempt to make this, let alone eat it! :(
